You Know You Are A Rock Star When...

....You get that big break you've been waiting for and you get invited to play Eddie's Apartment in Macomb, Illinois!!! Ironically...we have a booking agent now and this is the first show through our agent. As you can see...our guerilla tactics to help save the youth of america will not change and we are always up for playing anywhere...just can't keep up with all the booking anymore without losing our grip on sanity.

FUN FACTS: Modern Life Is War actually played our second show as a band in Macomb, IL at Western Illinois University and this will be our first time back to Macomb since then. The first show was in Marshalltown on 4/20/02 in the basement of Tyler's Mom and Dad's house with Holding On. They were a legit band from a legit city with a great LP out and to this day I am shocked that they actually drove four hours to play a basement in Iowa with a band playing their first show ever. We later became good friends with them, played many more shows together, toured together and played their last show. They were better than most of the hardcore bands around then and they were better than most hardcore bands around now. Buy their records. "JUST ANOTHER DAY" "QUESTION WHAT YOU LIVE FOR"

Playlist for the Last Few Days...
Holding On - Just Another Day/Question What You Live For
Minutemen - Double Nickels On the Dime
Billy Bragg - Live in London and Moscow 12"
Deathcycle - S/T
Spanish Bombs - Brown Bag Demo
Johnny Cash - 100 Highways & Personal Files
Crispus Attucks - Destroy the Teacher
Tear it Up - Nothing to Nothing

I like Tear it Up. I like that first 7" on havoc and nothing to nothing the best. We played with them in a basement in indianapolis one time.

I've never experienced a show in a small area like a living room... I'm probably missing out... I'm sure it'll intense.
