Japan

I woke up really early at the house in Tokyo we have been staying at the last three nights so i thought i would fill everyone in on whats going on. If you imagine a traditional japanese looking home...chances are it looks just like this one. To leave the house we have to drive on crazy narrow road (looks more like a wide sidewalk) that curve through rice fields. The first two shows in Tokyo and Mitsukaido were fucking great. Two very small very crowded clubs. Our sets have been intense I don:t remember the last time i felt so amped to play shows...i never thought we would get to come here and now that we are here i want to give them something to remember. The japanese people have been extremely kind to us. The food is great but john hates it. I have been buying lots of fun japanese toys and candy with happy cartoon faces on everything. Tokyo is clean and ultra modern with lots of neon, smut shops, hyper-advertising, casinos, arcades, skyscrapers, etc. i went to a record store that had an amazing selection of original 70s and 80s US and Uk punk rock vinyl. I bought the live two tone sound track LP Dance Craze and an original BLITZ - Warriors 45 and another record i bought for andi that i cant say. I walked around the small village and surrounding countryside of mitsukaido for hours. I always wish pictures and words could convey what its like in certain places i travel to...and once again here i feel like nothing i say or show you can do it justice. We are looking forward to our upcoming 2 days off where we will do cheesy american themed songs at a Karaoke bar, eat sushi, drink saki-bombs and hit up some arcades and casinos. hugs and kisses to all my friends and loved ones back home.

On the headphones:
Anthem by Ayn Rand (audiobook)
Get in the Van by Henry Rollins (audiobook)
