UK

The UK leg of the tour was great. Leeds and London were definitely the highlights. We nearly sold out the Barfly in Camden Town. Playing a great show in London satisfies my soul. I woke up early nearly every day and walked around the cities (sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds and London) in search of coffee and tea and cheap second hand paperbacks. I love the old buildings and the dreary weather. I picked up the new Babyshambles record and Pogues - Fairytale of New York 45. I'm having some problems loading pictures for some reason. When i get that sorted out I will post some live shots from Leeds and London taken by Sheep.

Hey Jeff, saw you guys last night at the barfly and thought you were stunning. Thanks for a great show; come tour the UK again soon! Also, you wouldn't happen to know if it's possible to get vinyl versions of the records in the UK would you (that is, if they even exist in that format)?

Thanks again, keep making music that moves me, much love,

Ed

Man....

The show at the Barfly last night was killer, perhaps the best gig of my life. Do you happen to remember the last song ya played? I couldn't make it out at all...getting crushed by stagedivers didn't help, haha.

I make the worst first impressions in existence...so, sorry about that, combined with seeing my favourite band....! haha. But, I introduced myself afterwards, but, sounded insanely stupid.

With the set...I felt the bass guitar was turned up way too high...I don't know why that was, but it kinda drowned out everything else, inc. the mic at times, which was frustrating.

But goddamn, what a show, and I'm glad it was at the Barfly instead of Underworld...Barfly is much more intimate, and doesn't have poles in the pit!

Anyways, it was fucking soul uplifting, it was incredible, thanks alot :-) Hope you enjoy the rest of your tour.

Oh, my friend took about 60 pics last night, he's gonna upload them and I'll hopefully send them to ya if you like?

-Jason.
