the sun also rises

Our set just got finished an hour ago. A couple songs into the set everyone on tour brought out two cakes with candles and everyone was holding big sparklers up...and sang me happy birthday while sheep covered me in booze. It was beautiful. The guys in my band have become like family to me. It doesn't even matter if i like them all the time...because we've been through so much together that I love them all no matter what. I wouldn't want to spend this day any other way and it's good to be alive.

soundtrack:
RANCID - Indesctructible.

...and I keep listenin' to the great joe strummer...cause through music...you can live forever...

what happened to your bush
it's not the same
something in your hedge
made a violent change
we come we see
we dive and destroy
and anhilating shrubs is what we enjoy
hedge core hedge dive hedge core
we're doin hedges to stay alive
it's anarchy night every night of the year
with chaotic mayhem
we keep your bush in fear
terrorist assasins of creative gardening
fucking up your hedge here's what we sing

you and i are going to be fighting about this forever.

but since this is a birthday post..
ill tell you again.
